Help raise funds by running your own fundraising event or project
- Contribute cakes, plants, or prizes, or consider running your own stall at the Woodlarks fete in June. (Contact Louise Drew, Fete Organiser on 01252 665333 for more info.
- Hold a Dinner Party with a purpose - invite your friends around and get them all to chip into the pot in return for being wined and dined. If you can't cook, why not order a take away and add a few extra pounds on top of the ticket price for Project Woodpecker.
- Take Cake to Work - A nice, sociable way to contribute to Project Woopecker is to bake a cake and invite your colleauges, friends or neighbours to buy a slice - and send the profits to Woodlarks. If you're not a cake-baking type, you could still have fun by buying a cake and selling slices of that. Everyone welcomes a luxury snack mid-morning or when the day flags in mid-afternoon too!
- Run a Bonus Ball Syndicate - How does it work? Well, first you have to recruit 49 friends, neighbours, and/or colleagues to become your syndicate. You allocate each member a number between 1 and 49. Each player puts in £1 however often you want to play - weekly, monthly or just a few times a year. You agree in advance the share of the £49 that goes to the winner, and what share you retain for Project Woodpecker. Use the bonus ball number from the Wednesday or Saturday Lotto game to decide the winner.
Whatever you raise, big or small, and by whatever means, please send the proceeds to 'Woodlarks Camp Site Trust', and clearly indicate that the funds are for Project Woodpecker.
